Sand Art
I thought about color.
I tried using oils, watercolors, colored pencils, and pastel.
But I was not satisfied those colors.
And I hit on a idea to granulate the colors.
Granulating colors that even though the colors are mixed,
these never blend and never be muddy colors.
And then the colors come out well on a canvas.

私はずっと色について考えていました。
油彩、水彩、パステル、色鉛筆、インク・・・
様々な画材を試してみても私は色彩に
満足する事ができませんでした。

そこで私は色を粒々にすることを考えたのです。
カラーサンドや自然の砂をすべて色彩の粒ととらえ、
画面を作っていきます。
粒状であれば混ぜても決して溶け合って
濁ることはありません。
色を人間の視覚で混色させます。
これによって美しく発色させることが出来るのです。

この技法によって、従来の点描画のように美しく発色
させる事ができ、且つ点を一つずつ描いていくという
膨大な時間と手間を粒を貼ることで短縮させることが
できます。

サンドアートの技法を多くの方に知っていただき、
また実践していただければ嬉しいです。
