あけの みつたかは奈良を拠点に活動中の画家、アーバンギャルドアーティスト。

2011年~2013年 県立美術学校にて基礎的な美術技法を習得、在学中、奈良県展にて1300年祭記念賞受賞。
2012年、ほぼ独学での絵画制作に目覚め、絵画制作活動を開始。2013年8月には第98回二科展で初出展にて入選、東京をはじめ、大阪、京都など、日本各地で開かれた二科展巡回展に参加。 2014年4月にHS芸術祭に入選、東京都港区の東京正心館にて作品を展示する。

2014年には公式ショップ、東急ハンズが母体の絵画販売店「ART Mater」での展開、販売活動なども精力的に行い、11月には同サイトで人気作家ランキングにランクインするなど、多彩な色彩感覚が多くに人の人気を集めている。
2014年8月にはF80号の大作にて第99回二科展に出展。さらに同年9月にはグループ展「ASOBI ISM(アソビイズム)」に参加。

2015年初頭には「薬膳&カフェ kawasemi」へ独占的に作品を展示する。さらには東急ハンズ主催の「門出展」に参加するなど積極的な展示活動を展開。

2015年に開催された第100回記念二科展では二度目の入選を果たし、国立新美術館にて同会の展示に参加。

主に油彩を中心とした独特の色彩技法を駆使し、「永遠」をテーマにした制作、展示活動など非常に多忙な毎日を送っている。
